Job Title: Marketing Manager

(Beston Shoes) is a premiere online fashion destination for trendy footwear, including shoes, heels, boots, sandals, etc. Beston Shoes carefully selects styles based on most recent trends of women and men footwear. In addition to our wholesale business, we have a strong position in the e-commerce shoes industry due to our attentive customer service, affordable prices, wide selections, and fast shipping, where most orders are shipped out within 24 business hours. 

Our company utilizes various e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, eBay, and Overstock as more consumers have moved towards to meet their shopping needs. Conducting business through e-commerce platforms introduces different complexities to our operations including how we reach potential customers and market our products in a highly competitive industry. Thus, our company needs the professional services of a Marketing Manager to coordinate our marketing programs and campaigns to ensure that these will increase brand recognition and sales across various e-commerce platforms. The Marketing Manager will develop marketing campaigns targeted towards our potential and current customers in order to maximize our company’s profits while meeting customers’ expectations.

In a quantitative breakdown, the Marketing Manager will perform the following duties:

Development and Management of Company Marketing Policies and Campaigns (70%)

  • Formulate and coordinate our company’s marketing policies and campaigns for our footwear products based on market data, product characteristics, and our company’s goals and financial position;
  • Monitor the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and suggest ways to improve these campaigns including the design, color, and look of our marketing materials and product listings;
  • Evaluate potential new product offerings to help management determine which footwear products to offer and market to customers based on market trends and what is currently in demand including new designs, colors, and other features;
  • Assist management in determining pricing strategies of our footwear products to achieve a balance between our financial goals and customer retention;

Marketing Cost Management (30%)

  • Evaluate the financial aspects of our marketing efforts to identify cost trends to assist management in cost reduction and operational improvement and efficiency for our company’s marketing policies and campaigns; 
  • Use sales forecasting of current product demand and customer expectations in the footwear industry to help management with strategic planning of marketing policies and campaigns to ensure profitability of products offered.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sociology, or related field, with college coursework in market competition, consumer behavior, and internet marketing; 
  • 2 years’ work experience conducting market research and consumer analysis for an e-commerce company
